Adieu
The Presidential General Election finally began late last week (well, it actually began awhile back, but that's another topic) as Senator Clinton finally conceded and the Clinton era has been over. My only regret, is that even with Senator McCain in the race, this presidential election still has the potential to be super boring. C'est la vie.

Watching McCain read speeches is like a meeting where someone reads Powerpoint slides. It's so painful to watch, especially when he force smiles or when people don't laugh at his jokes.
However, I bet we still see a good bit of the Clintons until Nov 4. Maybe even after depending on what the deal is.
A co-worker of mine is neighbors with McCain's speechwriter. I heard some great stories yesterday that he told the co-worker.
Yeah, we'll see both Clintons. I was hoping that Pres. Clinton would get a cush UN appointment. That actually would be a great job for him. I think the VP for Senator Clinton would be potentially a disaster--although that would make a formidable ticket--The key is appointing Bill as the ambassador to China, Japan or another country on the other side of the world. Realistically though, I bet Sen. Clinton runs for NY governor.
how do you live in washington d'c' and breathe with all the pressure from everyone there and all of us here thinking you know more than you know about this volitole bomb of politics???? steve and others i respect seem to have such a bead on everything but people way back here in the west are like that king and i statement.....a puzzelment

Really? Actually, I was at dinner last night with friends and one of the guys mentioned that Sen. Clinton is so much better looking in real life than the camera shows.
