Just ignore the pretty faces and repeat after me, "Cameron Crowe, Cameron Crowe"
A few months ago I heard about (thanks to hsx I'm sure) Elizabethtown. I shook my head at the leads-Orlando Bloom is irritating and Kirsten Dunst....well let's just say "spiderman"(aggh!) but the Director was Cameron Crowe. He who brought us Singles, Say Anything, Jerry Maguire and one of my all-time favorite movies, Almost Famous. About a week ago a friend who has musical taste I trust posted the link to the Elizabethtown soundtrack. Sigh. Cameron Crowe knows sound tracks. Go ahead, Stream it at Myspace with out even registering there.. Even with two Tom Petty singles (he'd sell his soul to be Bob Dylan) its a winner.
