The 50k Contest

Since this blog is close to being just 250 hits away from the big 50k...(and I got 300+ hits yesterday) this is just a reminder that there is a 50k contest. Let me know if its you..and I'll confirm it on stats (if I'm around)

Only the Cool Kids Play This

I'd like to announce the creation of our eighth private celebrity league (my btf advises to"embrace my geekness," so I am) that will start in a couple of days. Come on out, sign up, and this time there will be fantabulous prizes for the winner and loser (2nd and 3rd place, you're SOL, but you will get a cool virtual prize on the website). Its a good time. There's a close knit group of friends who trash on each other and gossip about celebs etc. Its uplifting. ;)
Anyway, come on out. We've got 4 spots left.

Note: I guarantee I will send prizes. For my dear naysayers out there, if you send me your addresses again I will get the cd out to you by June 1st or you can flog my publicly repeatedly

Gracias Brooke!!!!

A couple of months ago, I added one of Amelia's friends, Brooke, onto my bloglines. I've enjoyed reading Brooke's blog and even used one of the images I found on her blog to make a couple of embroidered happy easter dishtowels (I realized I forgot to post a pic of those on here.) around Easter time. So, when I saw that she had a contest to name how many times she and her kids stopped to look at snails while on a walk....I wasn't going to participate because I didn't know her, but I decided I might as well just try and guess with my old uniform number. Numero 17 was the winner!

And even though I don't look really excited about the chocolate blueberries...I am, I'm just a wee bit tired from getting back from Peru the evening before. If you look closely, you can see my little recuerdo de Peru on my right elbow.

I can't wait to try these...and my roommates were eyeing them mucho when I picked them up.

(and yes mom, rich, steven, and dad--that's the YellowStone shirt you gave me from your snowmobile trip. I washed it, and it shrunk down to a perfect size. There's few things more comfy than a good quality 100% cotton tee)

Note: Rather than write in one language, I'm embracing the Dora the Explorer style of spanish/english today. And no, I'm not bragging...I really am thinking in two languages this morning and its kind of annoying.

The 40k

I wasn't going to do it, but now we're at 39,900 or so I'm announcing the 40k contest. You prove your 40,000 and a wonderful prize package awaits you. What could it be? Its a mystery until it arrives in your mailbox.
