Gracias Brooke!!!!
A couple of months ago, I added one of Amelia's friends, Brooke, onto my bloglines. I've enjoyed reading Brooke's blog and even used one of the images I found on her blog to make a couple of embroidered happy easter dishtowels (I realized I forgot to post a pic of those on here.) around Easter time. So, when I saw that she had a contest to name how many times she and her kids stopped to look at snails while on a walk....I wasn't going to participate because I didn't know her, but I decided I might as well just try and guess with my old uniform number. Numero 17 was the winner!
And even though I don't look really excited about the chocolate blueberries...I am, I'm just a wee bit tired from getting back from Peru the evening before. If you look closely, you can see my little recuerdo de Peru on my right elbow.
I can't wait to try these...and my roommates were eyeing them mucho when I picked them up.
(and yes mom, rich, steven, and dad--that's the YellowStone shirt you gave me from your snowmobile trip. I washed it, and it shrunk down to a perfect size. There's few things more comfy than a good quality 100% cotton tee)
Note: Rather than write in one language, I'm embracing the Dora the Explorer style of spanish/english today. And no, I'm not bragging...I really am thinking in two languages this morning and its kind of annoying.

Nope, I get that. Whenever my Guatemalan neighbor (also my visiting teacher) comes over I'm stuck thinking in Spanish for the next 2 hours. At least it helps me remember to speak Spanish to my kid.
When can we see pictures from your trip???
Just curious, did you go to Machupichu?
