I've been a FHE leader for nearly a year. FHE is short for Family Home Evening-LDS church leaders have asked members to meet with their families on Monday evenings--traditionally a short lesson, activity and treat--In a Singles congregation, we are usually divided up into groups with a girl and guy as leaders. Well, I haven't had a co-leader for 7 months (not that I'm counting) but luckily one of the other groups has been combining with mine for several months. Anyway, yesterday we decided to go take advantage of half-price burgers in Clarendon (a neighborhood of Arlington). We had 12 people come out..2 of the people were actually on a date, but one of the girls waved them over thinking they were part of our group, they decided they didn't want to wait, and they joined our group.

Bonnie loved it when she had the same calling for a while.

Ah, yes, FHE mom. I also had a deadbeat dad for a while, then no dad...and no one ever came, not even my roommates, except one time when 60 people came for hotdogs at my apartment. But most of them weren't in our group and we didn't have enough for everyone. Freeloaders!
