Wow, what a day of change the last two days have wrought. Senate and the House has flipped, Britney will soon be a single mom, and Rummy will now be known as the youngest and oldest man to have held the position as Secretary of Defense. Although I applaud the change, I couldn’t help but rather than say good riddance, enlighten (okay, enlighten isn’t exactly the right word) you with a selection of his poetry.

Yes, Rumsfeld has been regularly reading his poetry to the press corps at the Pentagon since the beginning of the Administration. Hopefully you all will be a little less hostile audience than the press corps.

Here’s perhaps the best of the rest. The link on the title is a song that has been composed to accompany the poem:

In terms of overhead photography!

A trained ape can know an awful lot
Of what is going on in this world,
Just by punching on his mouse
