My mom's b-day is today so I decided to put this pic up early as a tribute to her. The pix was taken winter of '77-'78 in White Sulpher Springs Montana..I think. Anyway, I'm the lil' tyke all bundled up and that's my mama.
Now that just looks cold! I thought it had to be old because of the Phillips 66 gas station sign in the background - do they even have those gas stations anymore??
That's an old Phillips 66 station in the background. That's in the lower 48. Not Canada. Either Gardner City or White Sulpher Springs. Maybe my mom will confirm location.
It is Red Lodge, Montana, President's Day 1978. We entered Yellowstone sat Gardner & drove to Red Lodge through the north part of the park. At that time, they keept the road open to Red Lodge.
Oops, I was wrong. It is Cooke City, Montana. The Bear Tooth Highway betwen Cooke City & Red Lodge definitely was not open. And if it was, it would not be much fun with snow & ice.

If I didn't see the "66" sign, I would have said "Oh Canada?"

We were guessing '80s. The guys I work with are real car nerds.
