I haven’t any right to criticise books, and I don’t do it except when I hate them. I often want to criticise Jane Austen, but her books madden me so that I can’t conceal my frenzy from the reader; and therefore I have to stop every time I begin. Everytime I read Pride and Prejudice I want to dig her up and beat her over the skull with her own shin-bone.--Mark Twain

that's just... wrong and funny.
I tried to read that book because I thought I should, but I can't do it. I like the Lego.
Hey, thanks for posting this! I'm glad you liked it. :-D

It's still a work in progress, but I should be done within a few months. :-)
Thanks again. It made my day to see my work make it onto your blog. :-)
now that was funny
Okay, I love that quote. I love the picture. THIS is just a dang awesome post.
That is---so halarious! I need to share that with my English class! I tend to wane on the Austen side though, away from Twain. This is an odd thought, but I wonder what it would have been like if they had ever "dated," maybe it would have been a little P&P like!
Esperanza--that sounds like a creative writing project worthy of McSweeny's.
I like Austen a lot. I'm one of those girls who'll admit to reading P&P at least 10-20 times. However, that quote still cracks me up.
I think Nathan would be over the moon if you shared it with your English class.
