Really? Their Eastern Market is better than DCs? I may have to go check it out before I graduate...I've been to Detroit's 'burbs several times, but never into the city proper.

Detroits farmer market is much bigger than DC's. The produce is tons cheaper, and although there's a "yuppie-esque" feeling to it, its more of a working market than DC's. We picked up a few great things for super cheap. Detroit's farmer market feels grittier, but that's not a bad thing. Hands down better than DC's, and I like DC's Eastern Market.

The City of Detroit actually is pretty cool. The suburbs though, talk about huge. We didn't make it into Toledo yet, but when we go back next year, we're going to try and hit up the Toledo Art Museum. Sounds pretty cool.

The Toledo Art Museum is pretty cool--and it's free!!!! Best part. The special exhibits cost--I think Warhol is there now or just was there; comps studying kept me away--but it is a nice museum overall.

That's cool. There was a Warhol exhibit here in DC last year or the year before last at one of the museums. Pretty cool stuff.
