I may be crazy, little frayed around the ends
Like a lot of people my age, I've been a fan of the Foo Fighters from the first major release album. "There is Nothing Left to Lose," and "One by One" are two of my favorite albums from the past decade. However, a couple of years ago I burned out on the Foo. In Your Honor only had a couple of decent hits and was a disappointment. I wasn't happy they put copy restrictions on the album either. After that, I more or less thought I'd grown out of Foo until last year when I happened upon some live bootlegs and remembered why I loved the band.
Well, although their latest album won a Grammy last week, I was disappointed with Echoes, Silence and Grace. However, I haven't forgotten why I loved Foo in the first place. I like the direction I think Grohl and company are going. Besides, although the album is uneven, there's two great rock songs on the album. In fact, here's my favorite on the album in both video format (take a few minutes to watch another great Foo Video--Its great!) and a link to download the song. for free. Have fun with that.

Nice. I've seen them live four times, but I echo your thoughts on the last two albums.
I hear ya. I've seen them live three times, and although the live shows were awesome...this was more or less before their last two albums.
I love the Foo. I'll stick with them through less-than-stellar albums. Dave always brings a smile on my face. Did you see the SNL where they were the musical guest? There's a pretty funny video from it with people getting punched that Dave and Taylor appear in. And as I started reading this, I was watching the Will & Dave video on iLike here.
You can have them through their less-than stellar albums...although yeah, Dave will always bring a smile to my face too. I don't think I've seen that SNL, was it recently?
I'm not sure when it first went on air... Bon Jovi hosted. I'd say it was sometime last year.
I stopped watching SNL when Fey and Parnell left a few years ago. For some reason I just haven't been into it since.
That clip of Dave and Will? Awesome. Great find!
