1. I wish I remembered yesterday to go see the Pope. Really though, I just wanted to see the Popemobile. Now I really want to watch the God and State fair episode of Arrested Development.
2. Reading about the Yankees taking the Sox to task? Priceless.
3. Maybe I shouldn't have goodwilled over half of my wardrobe.
4. I nearly got into an accident this morning. Even though the perpetrator was about a foot long, and caused me to slam on my brakes and swerve, I would've come out worse probably if I hit that duck. Funny though, that Mallard duck was really pissed--even though as I was swerving the duck continued to go the same way as my swerve).
5. A friend of mine has really cool news. Hopefully I'll have a picture of her cool news tomorrow.
6. Riding along the Potomac at sunrise is gorgeous.
7. Apartment living is actually pretty sweet.
8. The Virginia Tech Anniversary was yesterday. My heart goes out to those who were affected by that tragedy-and those I know personally who lost loved ones.
9. I'm in a blogging slump.
10. Stealing wireless isn't all its cracked up to be.
11. Paying Double rent? Lame.
12. Getting a nice tax return? Not lame.
13. My alarm clock is our neighborhood songbirds. Bird song may be pretty, but not at 4:30 am.

1. I went over to the WH around 1030, but no Pope showing. Heard there wasn't much to see and the tix for the mass were long gone.
3. I too have some regrets from my Goodwilling this fall, but it's always a fine excuse to buy new clothes, even at Goodwill!
4. NEVER, EVER swerve to avoid an animal, unless it's a moose or something like that. You are much more likely to cause more damage that way.

1) Several of my co-workers saw the Pope and the Popemobile but said there were throngs of people. Yeah, I figured there was no way I could get tickets for mass but I would've gone.
3) There's impulsive shopping and then impulsive goodwilling. I gave most of my gym clothes and old t-shirts to goodwill. Now I've been riding my bike in every day I realized I could have used at least a few more shirts etc.
4) The Duck was a moose to my roadbike. I slowed down because of something else and the duck crossed last minute. With 1"=1.5" wide tires? I would've been on my back on the trail or the grass. Coming back though-three mallards charged me at the same spot. I laughed.
6. Today is my day off. Its 7:20! My body is lame.

couldn't understand a thing the pope was saying even with the interpretor....BB you would have to be a 50's girl to really understand and appreciate her fully BB Big lips, and Sopie Loren's intellegenty swqagger and the rat pack, Sammy davis...now you haave got me goin....
