wow. is this a real ad? springsteen v. celine dion? i couldn't watch it with the actual audio yet. it's not real, right? because springsteen can be kind of annoying but not nearly on the level of celine dion. the concept is fascinating, though. i have to check this out when i get home.
MJ-No, its an ad created by Salon writers. They take lines from Springsteen songs "slamming" small town life and show he's "wrong" for America. Its great!
MJ-Yeah, Springsteen can be somewhat annoying, but he's put out some great stuff over the years. The concept though, showing that you can take something completely out of context to create an "attack" ad on Springsteen? I find it fascinating too..and its pretty funny.

ok. i watched it again (still no audio) and caught the "approved by citizens for hilary clinton and celine dion" tagline. ok that's pretty funny.
