One of my all-time favorite stories on NPR is about a suburban's family struggle with an uncommon addiction. A story of how addiction can affect the addict and their family, I bring you the story of Lady, the Toad-Sucking Dog. I admit, I remember when it first came out a few years ago, and I still listen to the piece from time to now. Now you too can listen whenever you want to a heart-wrenching, ultimately heartwarming tale of Lady and her loved ones struggle to cope with her toad-sucking ways. Here's the file for you to download:

The Dog Who Loved to Suck on Toads.

Drugs come in all sizes, shapes, and some even hop. Here's Lady checking out her "hoppy heroin"

Downloaded the story yesterday and listened to it today. So seriously funny! I didn't realize I had heard it before, but the longer I went into, the more familiar it sounded, so thanks for bringing it back to me.
