An Unfinished Apartment

Kelli has been painting our apartment. The living room isn't finished. We're keeping the blue, toning down the orange and then comes the fun part of figuring out which paintings work where, buying shelves etc. but here's the room so far.
Before and After: I can't believe I'm saying this, but the couch looks great against this wall.
Here's the Guantanamo Orange wall, accented by the blue. The light is terrible this morning since its dark and rainy.

Aisy- My roommate wants to build a bike house in that corner.

POS-No, we got rid of the loveseat but kept the couch. You'll have to ask my roommate. This is her project.

I never really thought about an orange wall before. That looks pretty good.

Trish! Thanks. Yeah, its not too bad, but its going to be toned down a couple of shades. I agreed to a shade two tones lighter, and Kelli went two shades darker. In some lights, it looks great but with artificial light it feels like you're in an interrogation room. Hence the name, Guatanamo Orange.

Rich, the blue looks good. The orange needs to come down a few shades.
