The Downside to America's Birthday Party
Everyday on my bike-commute I pass one porta-potty. Just one, and I try to ride by a little faster as it smells a lot. The past week though, the porta potties have been multiplying. Now there's close to 50. Somehow, I don't think the ride next week is going to be very fun in spots, as I don't see a certain government bureau getting around to moving them for another couple of weeks.

ha! the ugly side of holidays.
I live near liberty park in slc where they celebrate the 24th. one of the saddest days around is the 25th - walking through and seeing the mess people leave behind after a night of "honoring" our courageous, faithful, hard working forefathers.
Yes, that is a down fall of crowds, but think of the live fireworks and the music. I will be watching it on TV, in the comfort of my own den.....Happy fourth....
