Roundup

1) My mother wants to start a food/nutrition blog but needs a catchy name. She's a Registered Dietician lives in Vernal, and I've got nothing. Any ideas?

2) Up is fantastic. A love story starring a 78 year old action hero voiced by Ed Asner. Most touching cartoon montage ever.

3)Truer Words were never spoken: (Below).

4) A shining star passed away last month. Here's a couple of videos of Bea Arthur.

5) Last, but not least........

I think you just answered your own question! Your mom's blog should be called "Men in Belted Sweaters!" hahahha.

Like the new background color a lot!

Perhaps "Men Fitting in Belted Sweaters"?

I still think she should call it "Verna in Vernal" but she disagrees---I don't blame her.

Have you seen the final episode of Golden Girls? One can watch the final scene on Youtube. I didn't like the show at all, despite the rumors that persist, but it is a great ending to the show.

Coming up with blog names is tricky. How about Verna's Vernacular? Verna's Viddles?

Lee - Anyone not a fan of The Golden Girls is no friend of mine, haha.

Steve-The problem is that her name is Verna Joyce, but she goes by Joyce and has never gone by Verna--Do you blame her? Verna is my Great-Aunt, Joyce is my mother.

Lee-I vaguely recall the scene you're talking about, I'll have to check it out.

Not a Golden Girls fan? I liked it, didn't love it-but always thought Bea Arthur was awesome.

I'm assuming this is for Vernal readers?
And, I agree, no Verna. Not until she's a grandma, anyway.

nutty nutra nuggets....i have always thought the key to my health was my personal nutrician, but have honestly have never figured out if i was low in calcium or potassium or or, all i know is that i am overweight but how to cut out the food that makes me fat but still keep my sutriants up, that is the question..i would be interested in your mom...i mean i would be interested in your mom.s blog

Janette-No, I don't think her blog is for Vernal readers per se, although she may talk about experiences she has in Vernal regarding nutrition. I'll read it, my roommate was excited about it, there'll probably be others who'll read it.

How about
The Joy of Eating

It's a good thing I wasn't eating anything as I read this post as the Men in Belted Sweaters would surely have made me choke. Hilarious.

Those are great titles for me, but I just realized I'm a little territorial when it comes to my given name.

I thought Sherpa was your given name. ;) LOL I didn't know that was YOUR given name.

Mom, what about "From Feild to Table"?

Joy said...

Kat-no worries, but yes-Joy is my first name.

It is good - except that the connection to feild-field is a bit obscure since most people would not realize feild (aka field)is my maiden name. Keep trying.
