Really, I'm not all that bummed REM called it quits yesterday. I like the band, and it's a part of my child/adolescence, but they haven't put out a decent record in years. Frankly, I think they should've said their goodbyes a decade or more ago. That being said, it's still a little bittersweet that REM is no more.

REM?
Really, I'm not all that bummed REM called it quits yesterday. I like the band, and it's a part of my child/adolescence, but they haven't put out a decent record in years. Frankly, I think they should've said their goodbyes a decade or more ago. That being said, it's still a little bittersweet that REM is no more.

...I didn't know they were still together. I assumed they broke up shortly after I graduated from high school.
I'm totally late to commenting on this, but I thought the same thing. Who even knew they were still together in the first place?
