Misery loves Company
Feb 10th is a sad, sad day. The final four Arrested Development episodes will be shown on Fox together, on a Friday night. So, because I don't really want to be sad by myself, I'm throwing a party that evening. Even though the curry fest is that evening, I'm still going to throw a party, maybe a light dinner before the shows start (frozen bananas, juice and cornballs).

I will be there emotionally, if not physically or contemporaneously. We knew it was too good to last.
Every year something has come up around that curry fest. Now it's Arrested. What were those curry-makers thinking? I will also be joining you on an inter-dimensional plane of existence, connected through the highway of our hearts, knit together in solemn laughter over the ridiculous mishaps of the Bluth enterprise.
I'm sooooooooooooo excited!
Lamely enough, that Arrested marathon is going against the Olympic Opening Ceremonies (traditionally one of the highest rated events on the year), proving, once and for all that Fox hated that show and, from the way they treated it, never really wanted it to succeed.
It's like NBC putting it's best show (Scrubs) up against American Idol. Lame.
You're right. Its almost(okay it is) cruel. Oh well. Have you heard anything about AD going elsewhere?
I've heard rumors of either ABC or Showtime picking up AD.
But, I don't think anything is final. I'm hoping for ABC, personally.
I agree. I got an e-mail this morning from a friend saying that he read a rumor that the showtime deal is almost finished. I was hoping that abc would pick them up.
i wish i could be there--but i'll be having my own party here on the west coast. curse all television magnates everywhere if no one picks up AD (I have already properly consigned fox to hell for dropping it in the first place).
