These are three photos taken by either myself or Kelli while we were down in Mexico in August of last year.

The first picture is of these little tiny gut buster tacos in Puebla. We wandered upon a church festival, indulged and had a good time with the locals. Street food at its finest. Oh, they were greasy...homemade corn tortillas covered with a little tomato sauce and meat i believe--awesome.

The second is of the famous jicama popsicle that was covered in green apple sugar and chile sauce. We didn't finish it.

The third was in Oaxaca province--We were in at least three towns that day. It was either right after we saw some ruins and right before a funeral procession went on a few feet from us or the town where the largest tree in central america is located. Santa Maria de la tule or something like that.

Seems like you had a great trip. I have never been to Mexico but have heard of others who love it.

Great picture! Yes, we do have green grass. Hubby even put the lime down last weekend and we have had alot of rain this past week.

cool. reminds me a bit of walking through an Indian or Malaysian food market. You usually find people making all kinds of strange and incredibly colourful foods in those countries too

Great photos - I'll bet the food was really good - too bad I can't learn to make that taste just by looking at the photos :)

That's beautiful stuff! Doesn't necessarily look as much like FOOD to me as medium for art, but I love it.

Yeah, I was looking in the photos we have of Mexico and realized those photos work as a series. Thanks everyone for your compliments.

Dainon--where in Mexico are you going to be? Fed exed tacos. Yum! Or you can just take a pic of you eating street tacos--that'll do too.
