I just read that Eastern Market, one of the biggest gems in DC, burned early this morning. The South hall (where the famous Market Breakfast and Lunch was located) burned and is all but destroyed. The North Fall which was a community arts (and where vendors sold their goods on the weekend) wasn't damaged. What does this mean? Although the Mayor has sworn that Eastern Market will be rebuilt, it'll be a while. Eastern Market, you will be missed.

I've never even been there, and that makes me sad...
That is a big shame
How sad.
What a sad thing to happen...
