These are, "The Deposition" and "the Pieta," by Michelangelo. In light of recent events, my general mood and Easter was celebrated less than 10 days ago, I decided to put these up. I've seen both in person, and they will both take your breath away.

Beautiful. I have seen The Pieta and recognized it immediately, but I wasn't familiar with The Deposition. Is it in the same place?
