No AC?

For the second time in a month, the temperatures in the DC area have crept above 90 degrees. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, but the AC at our apartment doesn't get turned on until May 10. Needless to say, the last three days have been miserable, but at least we have popsicles.

Who dubbed May 10th as the special day?

The owners of our apartment building.

At least today was a balmy 84.

That is something else. It's been all four seasons here, but barely reached the 70's a couple weeks ago. It's back to the 60's today...but at least not raining. I'd say lucky you, but I know all about the DC humidity.

what in the world? didn't it just finish snowing a few weeks ago? that is crazyness!! at least that means less pollen right? is your breathing better in the summer when its hot vs. cool spring pollinator weather?

SJ-Oh we've gotten a lot of rain. It's been cold here too, not snowing but there was a frost not even a week ago. Our weather is bi-polar right now.

Nicole-Hmm, I might do a little better in the heat, but it's a toss-up. Give me dry, hot weather.

Steve-Thanks....wherever you live!
