I prefer my turkey roasted and served up with mashed potatoes and stuffing with maybe some cranberry sauce on the side but that is one very nice picture!
I knew he was "stuffed", just not the bread or cornbread kind...Poor guy, they didn't eat him they just stuffed him and put him on display. Oh well, they are pretty birds....
I am so glad your readers enjoyed the turkey photo. Thanks again for using it. I totally feel honored and have a few more you might be interested in for future WWs.
So, maybe this is just me but that would TOTALLY make me not able to buy meat there. I am not vegetarian, but I just have this thing about not having FACES on my food. Like if there is a cartoon chicken on a chicken restaurant? Eeew.

Stuffed?! I thought for sure that was real! Cool shot.
I thought it was real too!!!
happy WW! mine is up :)
They do look alive. Happy WW.
I was just gonna ask if it was live or stuffed. My parents tried raising turkeys one year when I was a girl - they are really not fun to raise!

I thought it was real! "Cleanup on aisle 13"
Been to the Eastern Market myself, long time ago.
Very cool, I was gonna ask how they got the turkey to stay so calm!!! LOL D :)
he looks very majestic, but knowing he's stuffed makes me feel a little sad for him
You mean that is stuff? I thought for a while it was a real one and was thinking what it was doing on the counter.
Mine is up too.

So that would so gross me out.
doood!
Not sure if I'd buy there, I have a hygine thing, and would be wondering how healthy the food was if there was a stuffed bird stood beside it.
Yep daft of me I know.
The turkey is at a deli stand. Hygiene? All the meats are in the glass container. The turkey doesn't come into contact with the turkey.
Kip, I laughed when I read your post. Sorry, I've got too much of a farm background not to.
