My hubby and boys are HUGE Star Wars fans. Had to call them to the computer to get a look at your pictures. They were enjoyed by all. Great shots. Happy WW!!!
Mommee-I like Star Wars, but I'm far from being obsessed. More like that's a fun movie, but I know enough people that are obsessed that I've kind of backed away a little. The same goes for Harry Potter, but I digress. My two older first cousins who are 4 and five years older than me who I consider brothers were obsessed when I was little and I can't tell you when I first saw the movies.
Anyway, Jeremy-I don't know what the difference is between a fan who saw the movie in 1987 or 1977. There's no special membership for the fans who were alive and able to see the movies in 1977.
I believe you saw the first Star Wars movie in 77 or 78, but you likely wouldn't remember. I think we went in WSS. Isn't your first movie memory "9 to 5", Coal Miner's Daughter, or a Disney, perhaps "The Fox & the Hound"? LV MOM
Mom-I remember Fox and the Hound and 9 to Five. Both were pretty impressionable.
I don't remember the first time I ever saw Coal Miner's Daughter but I think I have a few memories of the first time I saw it. Star Wars and Coal Miner's Daughters are both movies that I always remember knowing the story-I don't know when I saw them for the first time.

Minor League Club did a star wars theme night. Sorta brings new meaning to the phrase "Evil Empire" eh? (This is coming from a Yankee fan.)
I only ever saw the first Star Wars movie...but I saw it more than twenty times. Just sharing a useless piece of information :)
Happy WW!
Mommeee
Interesting photo's...my son is a huge fan of Star wars!
Blessings
That's pretty cool, storm troopers just look so bad A.. gotta be as uncomfortable as that mascot suit to wear though. I kinda want one now.
Looks like a fun time was had! Happy WW!

Oh my gosh, those are awesome!
I have to show my husband!
Happy WW!
Well, it could have been worse. It could have been a theme centered around the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Yikes!
This is a fun sequence. Thanks!
Very cool! These are definitely not pics you see everyday!
I'm just trying to picture how the game went with everyone in full on Star Wars garb. lol
Thanks for the pictures. They brought a grin to my face.
Love Star Wars! I don't remember a pig in the movie, though:)
*lol* Jedis vs the dark side in the final, winner-takes-all showdown eh?
I can't wait until they do a "Carrie" theme night. Meanwhile, PIGS IN SPAAAAAAAAACE!
Hoo-You are brilliant.

As awesome as it all looks, it surely was uncomfortable for those storm troopers :-p
I bet most of them never saw it the first time in the theaters... what a great cult movie!
